Find your fit

A little time spent checking your measurements can make choosing the right size much easier. At Tide & Terra, we want you to feel comfortable and confident in what you choose. Because every style can fit differently, please also check the measurements on the product page before ordering.

To choose your size with confidence, measure close to the body without pulling the tape tight, and compare with the chart below. If you're between two sizes, we suggest the larger one for fitted cuts and the one you usually wear for relaxed knits.

How to take your measurements

  • Bust: around the fullest part, with the tape level all the way round.
  • Waist: around the narrowest part of your natural waistline.
  • Hips: around the widest part of your hips.

Knitwear and cardigans are measured flat (tolerance ± 2 cm). Compare with a cardigan you already own and love.

Shoes use European sizes. Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against the wall, mark the tip of your longest toe and measure in centimetres. Between two sizes, choose the larger.

1. Where we deliver

We deliver to street addresses and PO boxes across Australia only. We do not ship overseas at this time.

2. Cost

Tracked delivery is free on every order, with no minimum spend.

3. Processing and delivery times

  • Orders are processed and dispatched within 1 to 3 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays). Orders placed before 2 pm AEST on a business day are dispatched the next business day.
  • Our pieces are shipped from the warehouses of our overseas production partners, so delivery usually takes 8 to 15 business days after dispatch. Regional and remote addresses can take a little longer.
  • These times are estimates. Carrier delays, weather, peak seasons (November to January) and customs processing can add days; they do not entitle you to a refund unless the parcel is lost (see section 7).
  • If an order contains several items they may arrive in separate parcels on different days. You receive tracking for each parcel.

4. Tracking

As soon as your order is dispatched you receive an email with a tracking link. Tracking can take 2 to 4 business days to show the first scan while the parcel is handed to the carrier; this is normal. You can also follow your parcel on our Contact page by sending us your order number.

5. Your delivery address

  • You are responsible for giving a complete and correct address, including unit number, and a phone number the carrier can use.
  • Address changes are only possible before the order is processed: email us within 12 hours of ordering. Once dispatched, the address cannot be changed.
  • Parcels returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address, or because they were not collected, are handled as described in our Returns & Refunds policy (refund of the items less the carrier's return fee, or re-delivery at your cost).

6. "Delivered" but you don't have it

If the tracking says delivered and you cannot find the parcel: check your letterbox, porch, garage and with household members or neighbours, and contact the carrier with the tracking number, as parcels are sometimes scanned shortly before arrival or left in a safe place. If it has not turned up within 3 business days, email us: we open an investigation with the carrier, which usually takes 5 to 10 business days, and if the carrier confirms the parcel is lost we send a replacement or refund you in full. Parcels left at a location you chose through the carrier's "authority to leave" option are delivered when left there.

7. Lost or damaged in transit

  • If your order has not arrived 25 business days after dispatch and the tracking shows no delivery, contact us: we claim with the carrier and send a replacement or refund you in full, your choice.
  • If the parcel arrives damaged, keep the packaging, take photos of the parcel and the items and email us within 7 days of delivery. We replace or refund at our cost.

8. Customs and duties

Prices include GST where applicable. Our orders are below the import threshold for personal purchases, so no duties or extra fees are payable on delivery within Australia. If a carrier ever asks you to pay a fee, do not pay it; contact us first.

9. Questions

    Sophie got a little carried away when we chose this season's collection.

    We normally order about 500 pieces for a new season. This time, she ordered 1,000.

    The result? Five hundred extra pieces, a storeroom full of boxes and a small team wondering where to put them all.

    So we decided to turn Sophie's little ordering mistake into something good for you: beautiful new-season cardigans, knits, dresses and shoes at prices we would not normally offer, and an extra discount when you take two, three or four pieces.

    How do I choose the right size?

    Check the size guide and the measurements on each product page before ordering. Styles can fit differently, so compare the measurements with a similar item you already own. Between two sizes, choose the larger for fitted cuts.

    How do the quantity discounts work?

    Add two items and you'll receive 10% off, three items 15% off, and four or more 20% off. The discount is applied automatically at checkout.

    How long does delivery take, and can I track my order?

    Orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days and usually arrive in 8–15 business days across Australia. Once dispatched, we'll email you tracking details.

    Can I return or exchange an item?

    We offer 30-day returns in line with our returns policy. If you need a different size, contact our team and we'll arrange it. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law always apply.
